They count the number of vehicles that enter and exit the car park or on each of the floor levels, taking into account the direction in which they move, thus knowing in real time the number of current free parking spaces. When the system detects a vehicle driving inside the car park that hasn't yet parked, it automatically deducts one free parking space. Its design allows it to filter out the detection of people.
