Power Electronics was established as a partnership firm in 1994 and had started with manufacturing High Frequency Inverters & Interior Roof Lighting Solutions for Buses. Headquartered at Pune, Power Electronics employed skilled labours who undertake intensive quality control measures to produce best of breed products. Trained and fully equipped Service Network across the country is well supported from headquarter.
With the motive of changing the face of Indian Public Transport Industry, Power Electronics had introduced LED Display Signs for the first time in India in the year 2004. These aggregates were sourced from Hanover Displays Limited UK. Hanover Displays is one of the world leaders in manufacturing LED based display systems for passenger transportation.
The business was initiated as a sales and service dealership in India. During this period the following are the highlights:
- More than 2000 bus sets sold to the Indian market.
- Established leadership position in terms of the BRAND EQUITY.
- Created a service set up for the after market activities across the India, including systems as well as manpower.
Under the first phase of JNNURM scheme, Power Electronics with the support of Hanover Displays has already started the assembly operation in Pune based Plant to manufacture LED Display Signs in India. This led to reduction in the cost and made Power-Hanover products even more competitive and also reducing the total dependence on imports.
With the present security scenario and awareness towards implementing high end security equipments, we have categorically brought Pedestrian & Vehicle Access Control Systems to our product portfolio. In Pedestrian Access Control Equipments, we offer dedicated solutions like different types of Turnstiles, Automatic Gates, Swing Doors, Access Control Cabins and Speed Doors etc. In Vehicle Access Control Equipments we offer different types of Barriers and Bollards ranging from medium to high security applications.
Power Electronics also now has tied up with various European manufacturers for introducing new product lines in India, comprising but not limited to:
- LED Tube Lights for Interior Bus Lighting.
- LED Signs for Other Applications (VMS, Speed Signs, Static Signs, etc)
